TXZ012-015-019-024-029-030-011730- SPECIAL WEATHER STATEMENT NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE ABILENE TX 1130 AM CDT WED AUG 1 1990 AT 1130 AM CDT SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS WERE OCCURRING FROM MERKEL TO HASKELL TO NEAR BROWNWOOD. THE HEAVIEST RAIN WAS FALLING IN SOUTHERN JONES COUNTY. STORMS WERE MOVING SLOWLY TO THE NORTHEAST. DUE TO THE SLOW MOVEMENT OF THESE STROMS SOME LOCALLZED STREET FLOODING AND FLOODING OF LOW LYING AREAS IS POSSIBLE. STOAY TUNED TO NOAA WEATHER RADIO FOR THE LATEST WEATHER INFORMATION.
