FLASH FLOOD WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL  730 PM CDT
FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING COUNTIES

AT 325 PM CDT THE SHERIFFS OFFICE IN JUNCTION REPORTS FARM TO MARKET
ROADS...479 AND 2169 BY SOGOVIA ARE CLOSED...FM 385 IS CLOSED IN
EASTERN KIMBLE COUNTY...ALSO US 377 IS CLOSED IN SOUTHWEST KIMBLE
COUNTY. WATERS ARE STILL RUNNING OVER THE ROADWAYS IN MANY AREAS OF
KIMBLE COUNTY SO MOTORISTS SHOULD BE ON THE ALERT FOR HIGH WATERS.
 
AT 325 PM CDT RADAR INDICATED SHOWERS ANF A FEW THUNDERSTORMS IN
EASTERN TOM GREEN...SCHLEICHER...COKE...RUNNELS...AND MCCULLOCH
COUNTIES. THIS ACTIVITYWAS MOVING TO THE NORTHEAST AT 25 MPH.
 
 
DO NOT DRIVE YOUR VEHICLE INTO AREAS WHERE THE WATER COVERS THE
ROADWAY.  THE WATER DEPTH MAY BE TOO GREAT TO ALLOW YOUR CAR TO
CROSS SAFELY.  VEHICLES CAUGHT IN RISING WATER SHOULD BE
ABANDONED QUICKLY.  MOVE TO HIGHER GROUND.
 
A FLASH FLOOD WARNING MEANS THAT FLOODING IS OCCURRING OR IS
IMMINENT.  MOST FLASH FLOOD DEATHS OCCUR IN AUTOMOBILES.  DO NOT
ATTEMPT TO CROSS BRIDGES...DIPS...OR LOW SPOTS IF WATER COVERS
THE ROADWAY.  NEVER TRY TO CROSS A FLOWING STREAM...EVEN A SMALL
ONE...ON FOOT.  TO ESCAPE RISING WATER MOVE UP TO HIGHER GROUND.

IMPORTANT TO KNOW WHERE YOU ARE RELATIVE TO STREAMS...RIVERS...OR
