FLASH FLOOD WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 1015 PM CDT
FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING COUNTIES

THE SHERIFFS OFFICE IN JUNCTION ADVISES THAT AT 340PM THIS SATURDAY
AFTERNOON THAT ROADS IN KIMBLE COUNTY CONTINUE CLOSED. THESE ROADS
INCLUDE US 377 SOUTH FROM JUNCTION TO TELEPGRAPH ...PARK ROAD 73 OFF
OF US 377 AND FM 385. US 377 STILL HAS OVER A FOOT OF WATER CROSSING
THE ROADWAYS AT LOW AREAS WHICH MAY BE ENOUGH TO SWEEP AUTOMOBLIES
FROM ROADWAYS. TRAVELING IN SOUTHERN KIMBLE COUNTY IS STILL HAZARDOUS
AND MOTORIST SHOULD BE ON THE ALERT FOR FLOODED ROADWAYS.
 
 
A FLASH FLOOD WARNING MEANS THAT FLOODING IS OCCURRING OR IS
IMMINENT.  MOST FLASH FLOOD DEATHS OCCUR IN AUTOMOBILES.  DO NOoT
ATTEMPT TO CROSS BRIDGES...DIPS...OR LOW SPOTS IF WATER COVERS
THE ROADWAY.  NEVER TRY TO CROSS A FLOWING STREAM...EVEN A SMALL
ONE...ON FOOT.  TO ESCAPE RISING WATER MOVE UP TO HIGHER GROUND.
