NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE SHREVEPORT LA
1225 PM CDT SUN APR 22 1990

SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT FOR PORTIONS OF
EXTREME NORTHEAST LOUISIANA.

AT 1223 PM THE SHREVEPORT WEATHER RADAR SHOWED AN AREA OF SHOWERS
AND STRONG THUNDERSTORMS OVER SOUTHEAST ARKANSAS FROM NEAR FORDYCE
AND EAST OF EL DORADO TO EAST OF HAMBURG.  MOVEMENT WAS TO THE
SOUTHEAST NEAR 20 MPH.

STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL BE MOVING INTO PORTIONS OF NORTHEAST
LOUISIANA THIS AFTERNOON.  SOME OF THE THUNDERSTORMS WILL PRODUCE
BRIEF HEAVY RAINFALL...FREQUENT LIGHTNING...STRONG WINDS AND POSSIBLE
HAIpL.

ALERT FOR RAPIDLY CHANGING WEATHER CONDITIONS AND LISTEN FOR LATER
