THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS ISSUED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM 
WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 700 PM CDT FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING 
COUNTIES

   IN THE SOUTHWEST PART OF MISSOURI
      MCDONALD...NEWTON

AT 558 PM CDT A LINE OF SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS EXTENDED FROM 20
MILES SOUTH OF JOPLIN SOUTH WESTWARD INTO NORTHEAST OKLAHOMA>
THESE THUNDERSTORMS WERE MOVING TO THE EAST AT 20 TO 25 MILES
PER HOUR. THE CITIES OF NEOSHO AND PINEVILLE ARE IN THE PATH OF
THESE STORMS.

SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS PRODUCE DAMAGING WINDS IN EXCESS OF 55
MPH...DESTRUCTIVE HAIL...DEADLY LIGHTNING...AND VERY HEAVY RAIN.
FOR YOUR PROTECTION MOVE TO AN INTERIOR ROOM ON THE LOWEST FLOOR
OF YOUR HOME OR BUSINESS.  HEAVY RAINS FLOOD ROADWAYS QUICKLY...
