WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 815 PM CDT FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING
COUNTIES
IN THE SOUTH CENTRAL PART OF MISSOURI
CARTER...OREGON...RIPLEY
RADAR AT 705 PM CDT INDICATED A LINE OF SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS
EXTENDING NORTHEAST FROM 20 MILES SOUTHWEST OF WEST PLAINS IN
SOUTHERN HOWELL COUNTY TO SOUTHEAST SHANNON COUNTY NEAR EMINENCE.
THE LINE OF THUNDERSTORMS WAS MOVING SOUTHEAST 20 MPH.
SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS PRODUCE DAMAGING WINDS...DESTRUCTIVE HAIL...
DEADLY LIGHTNING...AND VERY HEAVY RAIN. MOVE TO AN INTERIOR ROOM
ON THE LOWEST FLOOR OF YOUR HOME OR BUSINESS.

TORNADO WATCH 244 IS IN EFFECT FOR THIS AREA UNTIL 8PM. THIS LINE OF STORMS IS EXPECTED TO INCREASE IN INTENSITY AS IT MOVES INTO SOUTHWEST MISSOURI WITH A RISK OF TORNADOES...LARGE HAIL AND STRONG GUSTY WINDS. THE LINE OF THUNDERSTORMS WERE MOVING TO THE EAST AT 15 TO 20 MPH. IF SEVERE WEATHER APPROACHES MOVE TO AN INTERIOR ROOM ON THE LOWEST FLOOR OF YOUR HOME OR BUSINESS.
