THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS ISSUED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM 
WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 515 PM EDT FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING 
COUNTY

   IN THE STATE OF NORTH CAROLINA
      NORTHERN IREDELL

AT 410 PM RADAR SHOWED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM OVER NORTHWEST IREDELL
COUNTY. THIS STORM IS MOVING EAST AT 15 MPH. THIS STORM PRODUCED
LARGE HAIL AND DAMAGING WINDS AS IT MOVED THROUGH ALEXANDER COUNTY.

IF YOU ARE IN AN AREA THREATENED BY THE STORM..GO TO A REINFORCED
SHELTER AND PREPARE FOR DAMAGING WINDS..LARGE HAIL..VERY HEAVY
DOWNPOURS AND FREQUENT DEADLY LIGHTNING.
