AT 335 PM RADAR INDICATED A POSSIBLE SEVERE THUNDERSTORM OVER PLAIN
CITY IN UNION COUNTY. SPOTTERS REPORTED WINDS IN EXCESS OF 50 MPH WITH
TREE LIMBS OF 5 INCHES IN DIAMETER DOWN.
 
THE STORM WAS MOVING SOUTHEAST AT AROUND 30 MPH AND WILL MOVE THROUGH
THE CITY OF COLUMBUS BY 400 PM.

HOT AND HUMID AIR ACROSS THE OHIO VALLEY WILL REACT WITH A COLD
FRONT IN NORTHERN OHIO AND PENSYLVANIA TO PRODUCE POTENTIALLY
SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS THIS AFTERNOON AND EVENING. THESE STORMS
MAY CAUSE DAMAGING WINDS, LARGE HAIL, FREQUENT AND INSTENSE
LIGHTNING, AND BRIEF HEAVY RAIN ACROSS THE WEST VIRGINIA NORTHERN
PANHANDLE AND INTO WETZEL AND TYLER COUNTIES OF EXTREME NORTHWESTERN
WEST VIRGINIA.
