THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN COLUMBUS HAS ISSUED A
SMALL STREAM FLOOD WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL  915 AM EST
FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING COUNTY...

IN CENTRAL OHIO
          ...MADISON

AT 615 AM LAW ENFORCEMENT OFFICIALS REPORTED MINOR STREET FLOODING
NEAR THE CITY OF WEST JEFFERSON IN MADISON COUNTY AND THAT MANY
STREAMS IN THE COUNTY WERE NEAR BANKFULL. NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE
RADAR INDICATED HEAVY RAIN OVER THE COUNTY WITH MORE RAIN TO THE WEST
AND SOUTHWEST OF THE AREA. THE RAIN WAS MOVING TO THE NORTHEAST AT 40
MPH AND WILL CAUSE FLOODING OVER MADISON COUNTY.
DO NOT DRIVE YOUR VEHICLE INTO AREAS WHERE THE WATER COVERS THE
ROADWAY.  THE WATER DEPTH MAY BE TOO GREAT TO ALLOW YOUR CAR TO
CROSS SAFELY.  VEHICLES CAUGHT IN RISING WATER SHOULD BE
ABANDONED QUICKLY.  MOVE TO HIGHER GROUND.
