AT 450 AM THE JOHNSTON COUNTY SHERIFFS OFFICE REPORTED DAMAGE TO A
MOBILE HOME PARK FROM STRONG WINDS. THE MOBILE HOME PARK WAS LOCATED
NEAR THE WAKE-JOHNSTON-HARNETT COUNTY LINES JUST INSIDE JOHNSTON
COUNTY.
 
THE SEVERE THUNDERSTORM CASUING THE WIND DAMAGE APPEARS TO BE MOVING
NORTH NORTHEAST AROUND 25 MPH.
 
 
 
NSEVERE THUNDERSTORM WINDS CAN REACH SPEEDS OF 60 MPH TO OVER 100
MPH. THESE WINDS BLOW DOWN TREES...POWER LINES...AND SEVERELY
DAMAGE MOBILE HOMES...SOMETIMES BUILDINGS. VERY LARGE HAIL CAN
