000 TTAA00 KRDU 232228 SVRRDU NCC147-232300- BULLETIN - IMMEDIATE BROADCAST REQUESTED SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE RALEIGH NC 626 PM EDT SAT JUN 23 1990 THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN RALEIGH HAS ISSUED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 700 PM EDT FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATION... IN EAST CENTRAL NORTH CAROLINA ...NORTHERN PITT COUNTY AT 625 PM...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE RADAR DETECTED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM OVER NORTHERN PITT COUNTY JUST TO THE NORTH OF GREENVILLE. THE THUNDERSTORM WAS MOVING TO THE EAST AT ABOUT 30 MPH. PEOPLE IN THE PATH OF THIS STORM SHOULD BE ALERT FOR LARGE HAIL AND DAMAGING WINDS.
