AT 3PM WEATHER SATELLITE AND RADAR DETECTED STRONG THUNDERSTORMS
PRODUCING HEAVY RAIN SOUTH OF INTERSTATE 8 GENERALLY BETWEEN WELTON
AND GILA BEND.
THESE THUNDERSTORMS WERE MOVING NORTHWEST AT 10 TO 15 MPH... WHICH
WILL CARRY THEM INTO SECTIONS OF INTERSTATE 8 WITHIN THE NEXT 2
HOURS. THE TOWNS OF ROLL... DATELAND... SENTINEL.. AND HYDER COULD
BE AFFECTED BY DENSE BLOWING DUST AND WIND GUSTS TO 50 MPH...
FOLLOWED BY VERY HEAVY RAIN.
MOTORISTS...ESPECIALLY THOSE WITH HIGH PROFILE VEHICLES... SHOULD
BE ALERT FOR THE POSSIBILITY OF ZERO VISIBILITIES IN DUST AND
HAZARDOUS CROSSWINDS. IN ADDITION... HEAVY RAIN COULD ALSO LEAD TO
