THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN PHOENIX ARIZONA HAS ISSUED A
SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL  445 PM MST
FOR THE FOLLOWING LOCATIONS......

IN SOUTHEAST ARIZONA

   ...SOUTHEASTERN GREENLEE COUNTY... MAINLY FOR THE TOWN OF DUNCAN

ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS DEVELOPED THIS AFTERNOON ALONG THE NEW MEXICO
BORDER BETWEEN THE WHITE MOUNTAINS...SOUTH TO THE SOUTHEAST CORNER OF
STATE.

AT 4PM ONE THUNDERSTORM HIT THE TOWN OF DUNCAN WITH GOLF BALL
SIZED HAIL.  NO DAMAGE WAS REPORTED.  SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS IN THE
DUNCAN AREA ARE EXPECTED TO MOVE NORTHEAST AND DISSIPATE BEFORE
445 PM.

THUNDERSTORMS ALONG THE NEW MEXICO BORDER IN SOUTHEAST ARIZONA ARE
EXPECTED TO GENERALLY DISSIPATE AFTER SUNSET.  HOWEVER THERE STILL
COULD BE A FEW HEAVY THUNDERSTORMS IN THE AREA BEFORE THEN.

SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS CAUSE DAMAGING WINDS...LARGE HAIL AND DEADLY
LIGHTNING. MOVE INSIDE A REINFORCED BUILDING OR STORM SHELTER. GO TO
AN INTERIOR ROOM OR HALLWAY ON THE LOWEST FLOOR. STAY AWAY FROM
WINDOWS.
