SEVERE THUNDERSTORM AND FLASH FLOOD WARNING
EFFECTIVE UNTIL  700 PM MST
FOR THE FOLLOWING LOCATIONS......
 
IN EAST CENTRAL ARIZONA
 
   ...SOUTHWESTERN GILA COUNTY
 
AN INTENSE THUNDERSTORM WAS LOCATED ABOUT 5 OR 6 MILES NORTHWEST OF
GLOBE AT 600 PM MST. THATS ABOUT 5 OR 6 MILES NORTH ON THE APACHE
TRAIL...STATE HIGHWAY 88. THE STORM WAS NEARLY STATIONARY WHICH
INCREASES THE RISK OF FLASH FLOODING.
 
THIS THUNDERSTORM MAY CAUSE DAMAGING WINDS AND LARGE HAIL AS WELL AS
VERY HEAVY RAIN DURING THE NEXT HOUR.
 
MOTORISTS DRIVING ON STATE HIGHWAY 88 BETWEEN GLOBE AND ROOSEVELT
SHOULD WATCH FOR FLOODED DIPS.
