...BLOWING DUST IN THE YUMA AREA IS FROM WEAKENING THUNDERSTORMS NEAR
EL CENTRO...

THUNDERSTORMS DEVELOPED OVER NORTHERN BAJA THIS AFTERNOON AND MOVED
SLOWLY NORTH. STRONG WINDS FROM THE STORM SPREAD BLOWING DUST INTO
THE YUMA AREA...AND FORCED CLOUD BUILDUPS OVER THE GILA MOUNTAINS EAST
OF TOWN. HOWEVER...YUMA IS ABOUT 30 MILES FROM THE STORM...?AND WINDS
AT THE AIRPORT GUSTED TO JUST 20 MPH.

LITTLE MORE THAN BLOWING DUST IS EXPECTED FROM THE STORM...AND THE
WINDS AND DUST WILL DECREASE LATER THIS EVENING.
