THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS ISSUED A FLASH FLOOD WARNING 
EFFECTIVE UNTIL 230 PM MST FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING COUNTY

   IN THE SOUTH CENTRAL PART OF ARIZONA
      NORTH CENTRAL PINAL

AT NOON MST FLORENCE POLICE DEPARTMENT REPORTED STREET FLOODING IN
THE TOWN OF FLORENCE AND A MEASUREMENT OF 1.25 INCHES OF RAIN IN
THE PRECEDING 45 MINUTES. RAIN WAS CONTINUING AND LOW LYING AREAS
BECOMING FLOODED.

RADAR INDICATED MODERATE TO HEAVY RAINS OVER NORTH CENTRAL PINAL
COUNTY THROUGH THE LATE MORNING AND CONTINUING AT NOON.

STAY OUT OF WASHES AND LOW LYING AREAS.  FLASH FLOODS CAN OCCUR
WITH LITTLE OR NO ADVANCE WARNING.

DO NOT ATTEMPT TO DRIVE OVER ROADS COVERED BY FLOOD WATERS OR
ACROSS FLOODED HIGHWAY DIPS.

WINDS AT 9 AM WERE GUSTING TO ABOUT 35 MPH AT THE TUCSON AIRPORT AND
TO OVER 30 MPH AT DOUGLAS.

WINDS GUSTS UP TO 45 MPH ARE EXPECTED TO BRING LOCAL BLOWING DUST TO
SOUTHEAST ARIZONA TODAY UP TO ABOUT MIDAFTERNOON. WINDS SHOULD BE
DECREASING LATE IN THE DAY.

MOTORISTS SHOULD USE CAUTION A;S THESE WINDS PRESENT A HAZARD TO HIGH
PROFILE VEHICLES.
