...THUNDERSHOWERS AND STRONG GUSTY WINDS IN EASTERN IDAHO...

THUNDERSTORMS HAVE DEVELOPED OVER EASTERN IDAHO THIS AFTERNOON AS
A PACIFIC WEATHER SYSTEM MOVES INTO THE STATE.

A THUNDERSHOWER WITH FREQUENT LIGHTNING AND WIND GUSTS TO NEAR
50 MPH WAS REPORTED AT SODA SPRINGS AT 235 PM MDT.  EARLIER STORMS
WERE REPORTED AT ARBON AND ROCKLAND IN POWER COUNTY BUT WITHOUT
THE STRONG GUSTY WINDS.  THUNDERSHOWERS WERE ALSO REPORTED NEAR
PRESTON... AND AT CHALLIS WHERE TWO TENTHS OF AN INCH OF RAIN FELL.

ADDITIONAL THUNDERSHOWERS WITH STRONG GUSTY WINDS AND POSSIBLE
BRIEF HEAVY RAIN OR HAIL ARE POSSIBLE INTO THIS EVENING. PERSONS
ENGAGED IN OUTDOOR ACTIVITES ARE ADVISED TO GO TO SHELTER IF A SEVERE
THUNDERSTORM THREATENS YOUR AREA.
