...THERE IS A SLIGHT RISK OF SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS THIS AFTERNOON AND
   TONIGHT OVER MUCH OF THE STATE SOUTHEAST OF A HOLLIS TO CLINTON TO
   VINITA LINE.

A COLD FRONT IS LOCATED FROM NEAR BARTLESVILLE TO CHILDRESS TEXAS.
BEHIND THE FRONT GUSTY NORTHEAST WINDS ARE BRINGING SLIGHTLY DRIER AND
COOLER AIR INTO THE NORTHWEST PORTION OF THE STATE. A WINDSHIFT LINE
IS MOVING SOUTHWARD THROUGH SOUTH CENTRAL AND SOUTHWEST OKLAHOMA WELL
AHEAD OF THE FRONT. THIS WINDSHIFT LINE DEVELOPED AS A RESULT OF
THUNDERSTORMS THAT OCCURRED MOST OF THE MORNING OVER THE NORTHEAST
PORTION OF THE STATE. A DRYLINE IS LOCATED FROM JUST EAST OF CHILDRESS
SOUTHWESTWARD INTO SOUTHWEST TEXAS. EAST OF THE DRYLINE VERY MOIST AIR
IS FLOWING NORTHWARD INTO OKLAHOMA. TEMPERATURES ARE WARMING RAPIDLY
AHEAD OF THE FRONT AND AHEAD OF THE WINDSHIFT LINE OVER THE
SOUTHWEST PORTION OF THE STATE.

WITH ADDITIONAL HEATING THIS AFTERNOON THUNDERSTORMS MAY DEVELOP OVER
THE SOUTHWEST PORTION OF THE STATE. IF THE THUNDERSTORMS DO DEVELOP THEY
WILL LIKELY BECOME SEVERE.

THE THUNDERSTORMS OCCURRING OVER NORTHEASTERN OKLAHOMA MAY INTENSIFY
THIS AFTERNOON AND BECOME SEVERE AS THEY MOVE SOUTHEAST.

CIVIL DEFENSE AND STORM SPOTTER GROUPS ACROSS THE AREA SHOULD REMAIN
ALERT AND BE READY FOR ACTIVITATION THIS AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT.
