THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS EXTENDED THE FLOOD WARNING UNTIL
800 AM EDT FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING COUNTIES OF SOUTHERN
CONNECTICUT....
MIDDLESEX AND EXTREME SOUTHEAST NEW HAVEN
HEAVY RAINS OF 3 TO 5 INCHES HAVE OCCURRED IN SOUTHEAST NEW HAVEN AND
MOST OF MIDDLESEX COUNTIES OVERNIGHT. URBAN AND SMALL STREAM FLOODING
IS OCCURRING OR IMMINENT IN THESE AREAS.
DO NOT DRIVE YOUR VEHICLE INTO AREAS WHERE WATER COVERS THE ROADWAY.
THE WATER DEPTH MAY BE TOO GREAT TO ALLOW YOUR CAR TO CROSS SAFELY.
VEHICLES CAUGHT I_N RISING WATER SHOULD BE ABANDONED IMMEDIATELY.
