...SHOWERS AND A FEW ISOLATED THUNDERSHOWERS IN PARTS OF NORTHEAST AND
MUCH OF NORTHCENTRAL NEBRASKA THIS MORNING...

AT 705 AM CDT NORFOLK RADAR SHOWED SCATTERED SHOWERS AND A FEW ISOLATED
THUNDERSHOWERS IN MUCH OF NORTHCENTRAL NEBRASKA AND A FEW SHOWERS IN
NORTHEAST NEBRASKA.  BRIEF HEAVY RAIN...AND GUSTY WINDS WILL BE POSSIBLE
WITH THESE SHOWERS AND THUNDERSHOWERS AS THEY MOVE EAST DURING THE NEXT
HOUR.  THE PRECIPIATION WAS SPREADING EAST AT AROUND 30 MPH AND SHOULD
BE IN MUCH OF NORTHEAST NEBRASKA BY AROUND 830 AM CDT.

845 AM CDT THU JUN 7 1990

...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT FOR PARTS OF
SOUTHEAST NEBRASKA THIS MORNING.
A LINE OF STRONG THUNDERSTORMS ARE MOVING ACROSS SOUTHEAST NEBRASKA.
AT 845 AM CDT RADAR SHOWED THE LINE EXTENDING FROM SOUTHEAST JEFFERSON
COUNTY TO THE NORTH AND NORTHWEST INTO SOUTHERN YORK COUNTY. THE
THUNDERSTORMS ARE MOVING TO THE EAST NORTHEAST AT 30 MPH.
AT 840 AM CDT FAIRBURY WHICH IS 55 SSW OF LINCOLN REPORTED HEAVY RAIN
AND PEA SIZE HAIL. AT 845 AM CDT HEAVY RAIN WAS REPORTED AT FRIEND
WHICH IS 32 MILES WSW OF LINCOLN VISIBILITY NEAR ZERO AT TIMES.
THESE STORMS ARE MOVING TOWARD THE LINCOLN AREA AND COULD REACH THIS
AREA BY 930 TO 10 AM CDT. THE STORMS ARE CAPABLE OF PRODUCING VERY
HEAVY RAIN AND HAIL IS ALSO POSSIBLE AS THE STORMS MOVE ACROSS
SOUTHEAST NEBRASKA.

...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT FOR PARTS OF
SOUTHEAST NEBRASKA THIS MORNING.

AT 910 AM CDT RADAR SHOWED THE LINE OF THUNDERSTORMS MOVING THROUGH
SOUTHEAST NEBRASKA HAS INCREASED IN INTENSITY SINCE 845 AM CDT.
AT 910 AM CDT THE LINE EXTENDED FROM NORTHWEST SEWARD COUNTY
THROUGH SOUTHWEST LANCASTER COUNTY AND INTO CENTRAL GAGE COUNTY.
THESE STORMS HAVE BEEN PRODUCING VERY HEAVY RAIN AND UP TO MARBLE SIZE
HAIL. THE STORMS ARE MOVING RAPIDLY TO THE EAST NORTHEAST AT 60 MPH.
HEAVY RAIN IS EXPECTED TO MOVE INTO THE LINCOLN BY 930 AM CDT.
THE STORMS WILL PRODUCE HEAVY RAIN ACROSS SEWARD LANCASTER GAGE
COUNTIES AND WILL MOVE INTO JOHNSON AND PAWNEE COUNTIES BY 10 AM CDT.

ENTERING WESTERN BOONE COUNTY WEST OF CEDAR RAPIDS...OR ABOUT 50 MILES
SOUTHWEST OF NORFOLK.  THIS STORM WILL LIKELY PRODUCE HEAVY RAIN AND
SOME GUSTY WINDS AS IT CONTINUES MOVING EAST AT 30 MPH THROUGH BOONE
COUNTY IN THE NEXT HOUR.

OTHER SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS EXTENDED FROM THE NEBRASKA-SOUTH DAKOTA
BORDER NORTH OF ONEILL TO ABOUT 10 MILES WEST OF COLUMBUS THEN FURTHER
SOUTHEAST TO LINCOLN.
