THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS ISSUED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM 
WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 730 PM CDT FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING 
COUNTIES

   IN THE SOUTH CENTRAL PART OF MINNESOTA
      SOUTHERN NICOLLET...NORTHWEST BLUE EARTH

THIS WARNING INCLUDES THE TOWNS OF NICOLLET...CORTLAND...JUDSON...
AND CAMBRIA.

AT 645 PM CDT A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WAS LOCATED NEAR ABOUT 35 MILES
NORTHWEST OF MANKATO NEAR NEW ULM AND WAS MOVING TOWARD THE TOWNS
OF NICOLLET...CORTLAND...JUDSON AND CAMBRIA.  THIS STORM WAS MOVING
SLOWLY EAST AT 20 MPH.
THIS STORM WILL PRODUCE DAMAGING WIND...TORRENTIAL RAIN...AND HAIL.

AT 640 PM CDT WIND GUSTS OF 60 MPH WERE REPORTED IN AND AROUND THE
TOWN OF NEW ULM.  TREES WERE BLOWN OVER AND BRANCHES BROKEN.

IF YOU ARE IN AN AREA THREATENED BY THE STORM...GO TO A REINFORCED
SHELTER AND PREPARE FOR DAMAGING WIND...LARGE HAIL...VERY HEAVY
RAIN...AND LIGHTNING.
