THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN ROCHESTER HAS ISSUED A
SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 700 PM CDT
FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING COUNTY...
IN SOUTHEAST MINNESOTA
...NORTHERN GOODHUE
...THIS WARNING ALSO INCLUDES THE TOWNS OF CANNON FALLS AND RED
WING... AT 630 PM RADAR INDICATED A POSSIBLE SEVERE THUNDERSTORM IN
NORTHWEST GOODHUE COUNTY 25 MILES SOUTHWEST OF RED WING. THIS SEVERE
THUNDERSTORM IS MOVING EAST AT 40 MPH AND WILL BE APPROACHING THE TOWN
OF RED WING AROUND 7 PM.
A TORNADO WATCH IS ALSO IN EFFECT FOR THE WARNED AREA. REMEMBER
SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS CAN AND OCCASIONALLY DO PRODUCE TORNADOES
WITH LITTLE OR NO ADVANCE WARNING. REMAIN CALM BUT BE ALERT TO
