SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 545 PM CDT
FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING COUNTY...
IN EAST CENTRAL MINNESOTA
...SCOTT
AT 5 PM RADAR INDICATED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM NEAR MANKATO. THIS STORM
PRODUCES 70 MILES AN HOUR WINDS AT 450 PM IN THE CITY OF MANKATO. THIS
THUNDERSTORM IS MOVING RAPIDLY TO THE NORTHEAST AT ABOUT 50 MILES AN
HOUR. COMMUNITIES IN THE PATH OF THIS THUNDERSTORM ST. BENEDICT AND
JORDAN AND ALSO PRIOR LAKE AND SHAKOPEE SOUTHWEST OF THE TWIN CITIES.
A TORNADO WATCH IS ALSO IN EFFECT FOR THE WARNED AREA. REMEMBER
SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS CAN AND OCCASIONALLY DO PRODUCE TORNADOES
