SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 645 PM CDT
FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING COUNTY...
IN EAST CENTRAL MINNESOTA
...DAKOTA
THE SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING FOR DAKOTA COUNTY HAS BEEN EXTENDED TO
645 PM AS SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS CONTINUE TO FORM AND MOVE ACROSS THE
COUNTY.
IN ADDITION TO THE SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS AFFECTING DAKOTA COUNTY,
SEVERAL REPORTS OF STANDING WATER AND FLOODING OF LOW LYING AREAS WITH
WATER 3 TO 4 FEET DEEP HAVE BEEN RECEIVED SINCE 530 PM.
A TORNADO WATCH IS ALSO IN EFFECT FOR THE WARNED AREA. REMEMBER
SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS CAN AND OCCASIONALLY DO PRODUCE TORNADOES
WITH LITTLE OR NO ADVANCE WARNING. REMAIN CALM BUT BE ALERT TO
RAPIDLY CHANGING WEATHER CONDITIONS.
