000 TTAA00 KMOB 210039 SVRMOB ALC003-210145- BULLETIN - IMMEDIATE BROADCAST REQUESTED SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE MOBILE AL 737 PM CDT MON AUG 20 1990 THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN MOBILE HAS ISSUED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 845 PM CDT FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATIONS... IN SOUTHWEST ALABAMA ...SOUTHERN BALDWIN COUNTY AT 735 PM MOBILE RADAR INDICATED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM JUST SOUTHEAST OF SEMINOLE IN BALDWIN COUNTY ALABAMA. IT WAS MOVING WEST TOWARD THE SUMMERDALE/FOLEY AREA AT 15 MILES AN HOUR AND SHOULD BE NEAR FOLEY BY 810 PM. PERSONS IN SEMINOLE HAVE ESTIMATED WINDS TO 45 MILES AN HOUR. THIS IS A DANGEROUS STORM. IF YOU ARE IN ITS PATH YOUM SHOULD PREPARE FOR DAMAGING WIND IN EXCESS OF 55 MPH...LARGE HAIL...AND DEADLY LIGHTNING. PEOPLE OUTSIDE SHOULD MOVE TO A SHELTER... PREFERABLY INSIDE A STRONG BUILDING BUT STAY AWAY FROM WINDOWS.
