000 TTAA00 KDAB 301816 SVRDAB FLC127-301915- BULLETIN - IMMEDIATE BROADCAST REQUESTED SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DAYTONA BEACH FL 215 PM EDT THU AUG 30 1990 THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN DAYTONA BEACH HAS ISSUED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 315 PM EDT FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATIONS... IN EAST CENTRAL FLORIDA ...NORTHWESTERN VOLUSIA COUNTY AND THE ADJACENT COASTAL WATERS. AT 215 PM...THE DAYTONA BEACH RADAR SHOWED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM ON THE VOLUSIA AND PUTNAM COUNTY LINE JUST NORTH OF LAKE GEORGE. THIS THUNDERSTORM WAS MOVING SLOWLY SOUTHWARD. THIS IS A DANGEROUS STORM. IF YOU ARE IN ITS PATH YOU SHOULD PREPARE FOR DAMAGING WIND IN EXmCESS OF 55 MPH...LARGE HAIL...AND DEADLY LIGHTNING. PEOPLE OUTSIDE SHOULD MOVE TO A SHELTER... PREFERABLY INSIDE A STRONG BUILDING BUT STAY AWAY FROM WINDOWS.

THESE THUNDERSTORMS WERE MOVING SOUTHEAST AT 10 MPH AND WILL MOVE INTO THE COASTAL WATERS OF FLAGLER AND NORTH VOLUSIA COUNTIES DURING THE NEXT 2 HOURS. BOATERBS OVER THE COASTAL WATERS CAN EXPECT STRONG WINDS AND ROUGH SEAS AND SHOULD TRY TO AVOID THESE STORMS AS THE MOVE INTO THEIR VICNITY.
