000 TTAA00 KMLB 111833 SVRMLB FLC069-111930- BULLETIN - IMMEDIATE BROADCAST REQUESTED SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE MELBOURNE FL 230 PM EDT MON JUN 11 1990 THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN MELBOURNE HAS ISSUED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 330 PM EDT FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATIONS... IN CENTRAL FLORIDA ...LAKE COUNTY RADAR INDICATED A SEVERE THUNDERSTROM WAS ALONG THE LAKE-SUMTER COUNTY LINE WEST OF LEESBURG. THE THUNDERSTORM WAS MOVING SOUTHEAST 20 MPH AND SHOULD PASS NEAR OR OVER LEESBURG WITHIN THE HOUR. SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS PRODUCE DAMAGING WIND IN EXCESS OF 58 MPH...DESTRUCTIVE HAIL...DEADLY LIGHTNING...AND VERY HEAVY RAIN. FOR YOUR PROTECTION MOVE T.O AN INTERIOR ROOM ON THE LOWEST FLOOR OF YOUR HOME OR BUSINESS. HEAVY RAINS FLOOD ROADS QUICKLY SO DON'T DRIVE INTO AREAS WHERE WATER COVERS THE ROAD.

FLZ011-017-111835- SPECIAL EAST CENTRAL FLORIDA WEATHER UPDATE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE MELBOURNE FL 135 PM EDT MON JUN 11 1990 RADAR INDICATED A LINE OF THUNDERSTORMS THAT EXTENDED FROM ABOUT 20 MILES OFFSHORE CAPE CANAVERAL ACROSS NORTHERN BREVARD...TO SANFORD AND INTO NORTHERN LAKE COUNTY. FREQUENT LIGHTNING WAS INDICATED IN SOME OF THE THUNDERSTORMS. RESIDENTS AND BOATERS SHOULD BE ALERT FOR THESE THUNDERSTORMS AS VERY HEAVY RAINFALL AND BRIEFLY STRONG AND GUSTY WINDS ARE ALSO POSSIBLE. MOVEMENT OF THE SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS WAS SOUTHEAST AT 15 MILES AN HOUR. ELSEWHERE...WIDELY SCATTERED SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS WERE DEVELOPING FROM OSCEOLA TO SOUTHERN LAKE COUNTY.
