SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL  500 PM EDT
FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATIONS...
 
IN SOUTHEAST FLORIDA
 
   ...NORTHERN DADE COUNTY
 
AND THE ADJACENT COASTAL WATERS ALONG THE SOUTHEAST FLORIDA COAST
AND THE ADJACENT COASTAL WATERS
 
AT 410 PM EDT...RADAR DETECTED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM JUST WEST OF
CORAL GABLES IN THE VICINITY OF THE FLORIDA TURNPIKE. THIS THUNDER-
STORM IS MOVING NORTHEAST AT 10 MILES AN HOUR AND IS HEADED TOWARDS
MIAMI SPRINGS AND OPA LOCKA.
 
 
DAMAGING WIND...LARGE HAIL...VERY HEAVY RAIN...AND DEADLY LIGHTNING
ARE ALL POSSIBLE IN A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM. SEEK SHELTER IN A STRONG
BUILDING. STAY AWAY FROM WINDOWS. DO NOT USE TELEPHONES OR
ELECTRICAL APPLIANCES. A MOBILE HOME IS NOT A SAFE REFUGE FROM A
