000 TTAA00 KMEM 091842 SVRMEM TNC047-091915- BULLETIN - IMMEDIATE BROADCAST REQUESTED SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE MEMPHIS TN 142 PM CDT SAT JUN 9 1990 THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN MEMPHIS HAS ISSUED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 215 PM CDT FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATIONS... IN WEST TENNESSEE ...SOUTH CENTRAL FAYETTE COUNTY AT 140 PM WEATHER RADAR LOCATED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM MOVING ACROSS SOUTH-CENTRAL FAYETTE COUNTY. MOVING EAST AT 20 MPH THIS THUNDERSTORM WILL BRING HAIL AND POSSIBLY STRONG WIND AS IT PASSES NEAR MACON AND WILLISTON. THIS THUNDERSTORM PRODUCED HALF-INCH DIAMETER HAIL AT PIPERTON AS IT MOVED THROUGH AROUND 130 THIS AFTERNOON. WHEN THUNDERSTORMS ARE OCCURRING...PEOPLE SHOULD MOVE INSIDE A STRONG BUILDING.
