FLASH FLOOD WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 1030 PM CDT
FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATIONS...
 
IN NORTHWEST TEXAS
 
   ...DAWSON COUNTY
 
AT 820 PM CDT STORM SPOTTERS AND RADAR INDICATED THAT HEAVY
THUNDERSTORMS WERE IN CENTRAL DAWSON COUNTY. THE PUBLIC REPORTED OVER
2 INCHES OF RAIN IN LAMESA. MOVEMENT OF THESE STORMS WERE SLOWLY TO
THE NORTHEAST.
 
 
BE ESPECIALLY CAUTIOUS AT NIGHT WHEN IT IS HARDER TO RECOGNIZE
THE DANGERS OF FLOODS AND FLASH FLOODS.  IF FLASH FLOODING IS
OBSERVED...ACT QUICKLY.  MOVE UP TO ESCAPE FLOOD WATERS.  DO
NOT STAY IN AREAS SUBJECT TO FLOODING WHEN WATER BEGINS RISING.
