FLASH FLOOD WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL  745 PM CDT
FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATIONS...
 
IN SOUTHWEST TEXAS
 
   ...SOUTHWESTERN REEVES COUNTY
 
AT 530 PM CDT...FLOODING OF ALL CREEKS WAS BEING REPORTED IN THE
SOUTHWEST PORTION OF REEVES COUNTY...ESPECIALLY THE AREA BETWEEN TOYAH
AND BALMORHEA.
 
BETWEEN 4 AND 6 INCHES OF RAIN HAS BEEN REPORTED IN THIS AREA DURING
THE PAST TWO DAYS. RADAR CONTINUES TO SHOW RAIN FALLING IN THE DAVIS
MOUNTAINS WHICH WILL ONLY ADD TO THE FLOODING.
 
MOST ROADS IN THE AREA ARE BEING REPORTED AS HAVING WATER RUNNING
ACROSS THEM...INCLUDING PORTIONS OF INTERSTATE-10.
 
 
A FLASH FLOOD WARNING MEANS THAT FLOODING IS OCCURRING OR IS
IMMINENT.  MOST FLASH FLOOD DEATHS OCCUR IN AUTOMOBILES.  DO NOT
ATTEMPT TO CRO?SS BRIDGES...DIPS...OR LOW SPOTS IF WATER COVERS
THE ROADWAY.  NEVER TRY TO CROSS A FLOWING STREAM...EVEN A SMALL
ONE...ON FOOT.  TO ESCAPE RISING WATER MOVE UP TO HIGHER GROUND.
