SEVERE THUNDERSTORM AND FLASH FLOOD WARNING
EFFECTIVE UNTIL  800 PM CDT
FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATIONS...
 
IN SOUTHWEST TEXAS
 
   ...MIDLAND COUNTY
 
AT 450 PM CDT...A REPORT OF 1 INCH HAIL WAS RECEIVED 5 MILES NORTHWEST
OF MIDLAND. THE THUNDERSTORM CAUSING THIS IS MOVING EAST TOWARD THE
CITY OF MIDLAND.
 
NORTH MIDLAND HAS ALREADY RECEIVED 1.30 INCHES OF RAIN DURING THE PAST
HOUR AND A HALF. ANY ADDITIONAL RAINFALL WILL CAUSE FLOODING OF ROADS
AND LOW LYING AREAS.
 
 
IF YOU ARE CAUGHT OUTSIDE...SEEK SHELTER FROM THE WEATHER IN A
STRONG BUILDING.  DAMAGING WIND...LARGE HAIL...VERY HEAVY RAIN...
AND DEADLY LIGHTNING ARE ALL POSSIBLE IN SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS.
STAY INSIDE AWAY FROM WINDOWS UNTIL THE STORM HAS PASSED.
