 WEATHER SEARCH RADAR AT PATUXENT RIVER REPORTS AN AREA OF HEAVY RAIN
PASSED OVER THE NAVAL AIR STATION DURING THE PAST HOUR.

THIS LINE OF HEAVY SHOWERS EXTENDING FROM SOUTHERN MARYLAND NORTHEASTWARD
THROUGH THE CENTRAL EASTERN SHORE IS MOVING EAST AT 30 MPH. HEAVY
DOWNPOURS FROM THIS LINE OF STORMS COULD PRODUCE LOCALIZED FLOODING OF
SMALL STREAMS ROADWAYS AND OTHER LOW LYING AREAS AS THE STORMS MOVE
ACROSS THE LOWER EASTERN SHORE.

MOTORISTS SHOULD NOT ATTEMPT TO DRIVE ACROSS FLOODED ROADWAYS.

PEOPLE SHOULD REMAIN ALERT FOR RAPIDLY CHANGING WEATHER CONDITIONS AND

TWO EXTREME WESTERN COUNTIES AND THE LOWER EASTERN SHORE COUNTIES UNTIL
7 PM THIS THURSDAY EVENING...

AT 3 PM WEATHER SEARCH RADAR SHOWS A LINE OF SHOWERS AND DEVELOPING
THUNDERSTORMS FROM CARROLL COUNTY THROUGH WESTERN HOWARD INTO
MONTGOMERY. THE LINE IS MOVING EAST AT 30 MPH WITH INDIVIDUAL CELLS
MOVING NORTHEADTWARD. SOME OF THESE STORMS COULD BE ACCOMPANIED BY
STRONG GUSTY WINDS HEAVY DOWNPOURS AND HAIL.

STORMS EARLIER TODAY PRODUCED JUST UNDER TWO INCHES OF RAIN IN THE
WESTMINSTER AREA AND 1.4 INCHES AT FINKSBURG WITH A SMALL STREAM NEAR
BANK FULL...BOTH LOCATIONS ARE IN CARROLL COUNTY. ADDITIONAL HEAVY
