 ...SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WATCH IN EFFECT FOR ALL OF MARYLAND EXCEPT
FOR GARRETT AND ALLEGANY COUNTIES AND THE LOWER EASTERN SHORE UNTIL
1100 PM EDT...

A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WATCH MEANS THAT THERE IS A POTENTIAL FOR
SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS WITH DAMAGING WINDS AND LARGE HAIL IN AND CLOSEO
TO THE COUNTIES THAT ARE IN THE WATCH AREA.

AT 430 PM EDT RADAR AT PATUXENT RIVER WAS SHOWING A LINE OF
THUNDERSTORMS MOVE EAST SOUTHEAST FROM PENNSYLVANIA ACROSS THE
THE MARYLAND BORDER INTO NORTHERN FREDERICK AND CARROLL COUNTIES.

THESE STORMS CAUSED QUITE A BIT OF DAMAGE WHILE MOVING THROUGH
PENNSYLVANIA. THERE WERE SEVERAL REPORTS OF TREES AND POWER LINES
BEING DOWNED.
