FLASH FLOOD WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL  815 PM EDT
FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATIONS...
 
IN CENTRAL VIRGINIA
 
   ...CULPEPER COUNTY...GREENE COUNTY...ORANGE COUNTY
 
IN WEST CENTRAL VIRGINIA

WEATHER RADAR INDICATES THUNDERSTORMS WITH HEAVY RAIN IN AND WEST OF
THE WARNED COUNTIES. STATE POLICE IN GREENE COUNTY REPORT SMALL STREAM
FLOODING AND A PORTION OF ROUTE 33 UNDERWATER. THUNDERSTORMS WILL
CONTINUE WIDESPREAD IN THE WARNING AREA FOR THE NEXT COUPLE OF
HOURS WITH SCATTERED AREAS OF HEAVY RAIN.
 
THUNDERSTORMS WERE MOVING TOWARD THE EAST AT 25 MPH.
 
DO NOT DRIVE YOUR VEHICLE INTO AREAS WHERE THE WATER COVERS THE
ROADWAY.  THE WATER DEPTH MAY BE TOO GREAT TO ALLOW YOUR CAR TO
CROSS SAFELY. q VEHICLES CAUGHT IN RISING WATER SHOULD BE
ABANDONED QUICKLY.  MOVE TO HIGHER GROUND.
