AT 505 PM CDT A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WAS MOVING INTO THE EXTREME
NORTHWESTERN PART OF HALE COUNTY FROM THE WEST. THIS STORM
CAUSED UP TO PEA SIZED HAIL AND GUSTY WINDS STRONG ENOUGH TO
RIP BRANCHES UP TO FOUR INCHES IN DIAMETER FROM TREES IN
OLTON WHEN IT PASSED THROUGH THAT COMMUNITY AROUND 445 PM.
 
SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS PRODUCE DAMAGING WIND IN EXCESS OF 55
MPH...DESTRUCTIVE HAIL...DEADLY LIGHTNING...AND VERY HEAVY RAIN.
