AT 620 PM NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE RADAR SHOWED SCATTERED THUNDERSTORMS OVER THE CENTRAL SOUTH PLAINS. THE STORMS WERE OCCURRING IN NORTH- EASTERN LUBBOCK COUNTY...EASTERN HALE COUNTY...AND SOUTHERN FLOYD COUNTY AND NORTHERN CROSBY COUNTY. BRIEF STRONG WINDS...SMALL HAIL AND FREQUENT LIGHTNING ARE LIKELY WITH THESE THUNDERSTORMS. THE STORMS ARE MOVING EAST AT 25 MPH. MORE ATMOSPHERIC MOISTURE IS AVAILABLE OVER EASTERN SECTIONS OF THE SOUTH PLAINS...SO THESE STORMS WILL PROBABLY INTENSIFY IN THE NEXT HOUR AS THEY MOVE EAST.
