SHERIFFS DEPARTMENT OFFICIALS REPORT THAT A THUNDERSTORM 20 MILES
WEST OF CUYAMA IS CAUSING HEAVY RAIN AND FREQUENT LIGHTNING STRIKES
IN EASTERN SANTA BARBARA COUNTY...ABOUT 20 MILES WEST OF THE TOWN
OF CUYAMA.  STATE HIGHWAY 166...THE SUBJECT OF FLOODS AND WASHOUTS
LAST WEEKEND...IS AGAIN COVERED BY WATER AND DEBRIS.

THE STORM APPEARS TO BE IN A WEAKENING STAGE AT THIS TIME BUT CAN
STILL PRODUCE HEAVY RAIN AND LIGHTNING FOR THE NEXT HOUR OR MORE.

MOTORISTS IN NORTHEASTERN SANTA BARBARA COUNTY...ESPECIALLY THOSE
USING HIGHWAY 166...SHOULD USE EXTREME CAUTION TONIGHT.
