000 TTAA00 KBTR 212031 SVRBTR LAC009-025-212135- BULLETIN - IMMEDIATE BROADCAST REQUESTED SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE BATON ROUGE LA 235 PM CST FRI DEC 21 1990 THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN BATON ROUGE HAS ISSUED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 330 PM CST FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATIONS... IN EAST CENTRAL LOUISIANA ...NORTHWEST AVOYELLES...CATAHOULA PARISHES AT 230 PM RADARS SHOWED SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS 10 MILES WEST OF MARKSVILLE AND 8 MILES SOUTH OF JONESVILLE. THE STORMS WERE MOVING TO THE NORTHEAST AT 30 MPH. A TORNADO WATCH IS ALSO IN EFFECT FOR THE WARNED AREA. REMEMBER SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS CAN AND OCCASIONALLY DO PRODUCE TORNADOES WITH LITTLE OR NO ADVANCE WARNING. REMAIN CALM BUT BE ALERT TO RAPIDLY CHANGING WEATHER CONDITIONS. THIS IS A DANGEROUS STORM.
