810 AM CDT MON MAY 28 1990

...THUNDERSTORMS WITH VERY HEAVY RAIN WERE MOVING ACROSS PARTS OF EAST
CENTRAL LOUISIANA...

RADAR SHOWED A SOLID LINE OF THUNDERSTORMS WITH VERY HEAVY RAIN AND
STRONG GUSTY WIND FROM ALEXANDRIA...SOUTHWEST ACROSS OAKDALE TO JUST
WEST OF EUNICE.  A CLUSTER OF THUNDERSTORMS CONTINUED ACROSS SOUTHERN
CATAHOULA AND CONCORDIA PARISHES.  MOVEMENT WAS SOUTHEAST ABOUT 30 MPH.

THE LINE OF THUNDERSTORMS WILL MOVE TO AVOYELLES AND ST. LANDRY
PARISHES WITHIN THE HALF HOUR AND TO SOUTHERN CONCORDIA AND POINTE
COUPEE PARIEHES WITHIN THE NEXT ONE TO TWO HOURS.

PEOPLE IN THESE AREAS CAKN EXPECT TEMPORARY FLOODING OF STREETS AND
LOW LYING AREAS AND STRONG GUSTY WIND AS THE THUNDERSTORMS PASS THROUGH
THIS MORNING.
