AT 345 PM CDT...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WAS OVER JEFFERSON COUNTY
AIRPORT. THE WIND WAS GUSTING TO 59 MPH. DIME SIZE HAIL HAS BEEN
REPORTED AT THE GOODYEAR PLANT ON IH-10 WEST OF BEAUMONT AND IN THE
NORTH END OF BEAUMONT.
 
WHEN THUNDERSTORMS ARE OCCURRING...PEOPLE SHOULD MOVE INSIDE A
STRONG BUILDING.  DO NOT STAND BY WINDOWS.  DON'T USE TELEPHONES
OR ELECTRICAL APPLIANCES UNLESS IN AN EMERGENCY UNTIL THE STORM
HAS PASSED.  MOTORISTS SHOULD NOT DRIVE INTO LOW WATER CROSSINGS.
