AT 145 PM CDT...WEATHER RADAR SHOWED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM JUST
NORTHWEST OF JASPER IN JASPER COUNTY MOVING SOUTHWEST AT 25 MPH.
LARGE HAIL WAS DETECTED WITHIN THIS STORM AND STRONG DAMAGING
WINDS MAY ACCOMPANY THE HAIL.
 
THIS STORM WAS PART OF A BAND OF STORMS THAT HAD DEVELOPED RAPIDLY
ACROSS THE EAST TEXAS LAKES AREA FROM EXTREME NORTHWEST TYLER COUNTY
ACROSS RAYBURN LAKE DAM TO FORT POLK. ALL THUNDERSTORMS WERE MOVING
SOUTHWEST AT 25 MPH.
 
IF YOU ARE CAUGHT OUTSIDE...SEEK SHELTER FROM THE WEATHER IN A
STRONG BUILDING.  DAMAGING WIND...LARGE HAIL...VERY HEAVY RAIN...
AND DEADLY LIGHTNING ARE ALL POSSIBLE IN SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS.
STAY INSIDE AWAY FROM WINDOWS UNTIL THE STORM HAS PASSED.
