THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS ISSUED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM 
WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 630 PM CDT FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING 
COUNTY

   IN THE NORTH CENTRAL PART OF NEBRASKA
      THOMAS

AT 515 PM CDT...RADAR INDICATED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM 5 MILES
SOUTHEAST OF THEDFORD. THIS STORM WAS MOVING NORTHEAST AT 15 MPH.

IF YOU ARE IN THE AREA THREATENED BY THE STORM...GO TO A REINFORCED
SHELTER AND PREPARE FOR STRONG DAMAGING WIND...LARGE HAIL...VERY
HEAVY RAIN...AND DEADLY LIGHTNING.

REMEMBER...SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS CAN AND OCCASIONAaLLY DO PRODUCE A
TORNADO WITH LITTLE OR NO ADVANCE WARNING SO BE ON THE LOOKOUT!!

THIS SLOW MOVING THUNDERSTORM MAY CAUSE FLOODING OF SMALL STREAMS
AND UNDERPASSES.  MOTORISTS SHOULD AVOID LOW WATER CROSSINGS.

UNTIL 9 PM CDT.

THUNDERSTORMS WERE DEVELOPING ALONG A LINE FROM 15 NORTHEAST OF THEDFORD
IN THOMAS COUNTY OR 51 MILES NORTH OF NORTH PLATTE TO 25 MILES NORTHWEST
OF NORTH PLATTE TO 35 MILES SOUTH SOUTHWEST OF NORTH PLATTE NEBRASKA. THE
STRONGEST THUNDERSTORMS WAS 10 MILES SOUTH SOUTHWEST TO 3 MILES NORTH
NORTHWEST OF TYRON OR ABOUT 28 MILES NORTH NORTHWEST OF NORTH PLATTE
NEBRASKA. THUNDERSTORMS ARE ALSO FORMING IN EXTREME SOUTHWEST NEBBRASKA
NEAR BENKELMAN OR 41 MILES NORTH OF GOODLAND KANSAS. THESE STORMS WERE
MOVING NORTH NORTHEAST AT 15 MPH.

FOR THE REST OF THIS EVENING THUNDERSTORMS WILL BE MOVING THROUGH THE AREA
WITH TEMPERATURES IN THE MID 80S TO LOW 90S.
