WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 715 PM CDT FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING
COUNTY
IN THE NORTHEAST PART OF NEBRASKA
NORTHERN KNOX
AT 625 PM CDT NORFOLK RADAR INDICATED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM
POSSIBLY WITH LARGE HAIL 60 MILES NORTHWEST OF NORFOLK NEAR
NIOBRARA. MOVEMENT WAS EAST AT 25 MPH. THIS STORM WILL LIKELY
AFFECT THE TOWNS OF SANTEE...LINDY AND CROFTON AS WELL AS ADJACENT
WATERS OF LEWIS AND CLARK LAKE.
SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS PRODUCE DAMAGING WINDS...LARGE HAIL...DEADLY
LIGHTNING AND VERY HEAVY RAIN THAT CAN QUICKLY FLOOD A LOW LYING
AREA. SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS CAN ALSO PRODUCE A TORNADO WITH LITTLE
OR NO WARNING.
