THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS ISSUED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM 
WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 745 PM CDT FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING 
COUNTIES

   IN THE NORTH CENTRAL PART OF NEBRASKA
      NORTHERN ROCK...NORTHWEST HOLT

AT 645 PM CDT RADAR CONTINUED TO INDICATE A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM
JUST ENTERING NORTHERN ROCK COUNTY ABOUT 20 MILES NORTHEAST OF
AINSWORTH OR ABOUT 15 MILES NORTHWEST OF NEWPORT.

THE STORM IS MOVING SOUTHEAST AT 25 MPH AND WILL EFFECT THE
TOWNS OF NEWPORT...STUART AND ATKINSON IN THE NEXT HOUR.

SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS PRODUCE DAMAGING WINDS...LARGE HAIL...DEADLY
LIGHTNING AND VERY HEAVY RAIN THAT CAN QUICKLY FLOOD A LOW LYING
AREA.  SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS CAN ALSO PRODUCE A TORNADO WITH LITTLE
OR NO WARNING.

IF YOU ARE OUTSIDE...TAKE SHELTER IN A STRONG BUILDING.  REMAIN
INSIDE AWAY FROM WINDOWS UNTIL THE STORM HAS PASSED.  TAKE SHELTER
IN AN INTERIOR ROOM ON THE LOWEST FLOOR OF YOUR HOME OR BUSINESS.

 THE TORNADO WARNING FOR KEYA PAHA COUNTY HAS BEEN CANCELLED.
 A TORNADO WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT FOR ALL OF NORTHCENTRAL
 NEBRASKA UNTIL MIDNIGHT CDT.
