 SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WATCH FOR MUCH OF NORTHERN AND EAST-CENTRAL
MISSISSIPPI REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 8PM.

AT 425 PM SCATTERED VERY STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WERE INDICATED ACROSS
EAST CENTRAL MISSISSIPPI...GENERALLY IN A 50 MILE WIDE BAND
FROM EUPORA TO PHILADELPHIA.

A VERY STRONG THUNDERSTORM WAS OCCURRING OVER SOUTHWEST LOWNDES COUNTY AN
NORTHERN NOXUBEE COUNTY 10 MILES NORTH OF MACON. ANOTHER VERY STRONG
THUNDERSTORM WAS INDICATED 15 MILES WEST OF WEST POINT MISSISSIPPI.

ALL THESE THUNDERSTORMS WERE MOVING TO THE SOUTHEAST AT 20 MPH.
