 SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WATCH NUMBER 582 REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 8 PM
FOR MUCH OF NORTHERN AND EAST-CENTRAL MISSISSIPPI.

AT 230 PM JACKSON RADAR SHOWED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM IN LOWNDES COUNTY
JUST TO THE WEST OF COLUMBUS AND ANOTHER SEVERE THUNDERSTORM JUST
INTO ALABAMA 15 MILES EAST OF COLUMBUS MISSISSIPPI.

OTHER SCATTERED VERY STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WERE DEVELOPING ALONG A
STATIONARY FRONT THAT EXTENDED FROM MEMPHIS TENNESSEE TO MONTGOMERY
ALABAMA. THE THUNDERSTORMS WERE MOVING SOUTH4EAST ALONG THE FRONT
AT 20 MILES AN HOUR.

SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WATCH NUMBER 582 IN EFFECT UNTIL 800 PM CDT.

AT 330 PM CDT MERIDIAN RADAR INDICATED AN AREA OF THUNDERSTORMS
EXTENDED ALONG AND NORTH OF A LINE FROM GRENADA TO LOUISVILLE
MISSISSIPPI TO DEMOPOLIS TO MILLERS FERRY ALABAMA. THE
THUNDERSTORMS WERE MOVING SOUTH AT 20 MPH.
