MISSISSIPPI UNTIL 9 AM CDT...

A LINE OF INTENSE THUNDERSTORMS WAS LOCATED FROM 25 MILES WEST OF
CORINTH, MISSISSIPPI SOUTH TO NEW ALBANY THEN SOUTHWEST TO GREENVILLE,
MISSISSIPPI.

THE STRONGER STORMS IN THIS BAND WILL BE ACCOMPANIED BY GUSTY WINDS IN
EXCESS OF 40 MILES AND HOUR...VERY HEAVY RAIN...FREQUENT CLOUD TO GROUND
LIGHTNING AND POSSIBLE HAIL. THE BAND OF THUNDERSTORMS WAS MOVING TO THE
EAST AT NEAR 45 MILES AN HOUR WEST OF CORINTH AND SOUTHEAST AT 30 BETWEEN
WATER VALLEY AND GREENVILLE.

THE STRONGER THUNDERSTORMS WERE INIDCATED 5 MILES SOUTHWEST OF SHAW.

PERSONS IN THE PATH OF THESE INTENSE STORMS SHOULD BE ALERT TO
THREATENING WEATHER AND TAKE ACTION IF NEEDED.

MISSISSIPPI UNTIL 9 AM CDT...

NUMEROUS INTENSE THUNDERSTORMS CONTINUED OVER THE NORTHERN THIRD OF
MISSISSIPPI MAINLY ALONG AND NORTH A LINE FROM HOLLANDALE TO GREENWOOD
TO NETTLETON.  THE THUNDERSTORMS EXTENDED NORTH TO TUPELO AND COAHOMA
THEN WEST INTO SOUTHEAST ARKANSAS.

THE STRONGER STORMS ARE CAPABLE OF PRODUCING GUSTY WINDS IN EXCESS OF
40 MILES AND HOUR...VERY HEAVY RAIN...FREQUENT CLOUD TO GROUND LIGHTNING
AND POSSIBLE HAIL.

THE STRONGER THUNDERSTORMS WERE INIDCATED 10 MILES NORTHWEST OF GREENBWOOD
AND ALONG THE MISSISSIPPI RIVER SOUTHWEST OF GREENVILLE.
MOVEMENT WAS NORTHEAST AT 35 MILES AN HOUR.

...SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WATCH 292 IS IN EFFECT FOR MUCH OF NORTH AND
CENTRAL MISSISSIPPI UNTIL 100 PM CDT. THIS WATCH REPLACES SEVERE
THUNDERSTORM WATCH 290.

AT 755 AM CDT NUMEROUS STRONG THUNDERSTORMS CONTINUED OVER THE NORTHWEST
PART OF MISSISSIPPI. THE STRONGEST STORMS WERE OVER SOUTHERN BOLILVAR
COUNTY...EAST HUMPHREYS COUNTY...NORTHERN YAZOO COUNTY AND SOUTHERN
LEFLORE COUNTY. A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM REMAINS IN EFFECT FOR LEFLORE
COUNTY UNTIL 845 AM.

MANY OF THE STRONG STORMS WILL BE ACCOMPANIED BY STRONG GUSTY WINDS IN
EXCESS OF 45 MILES AND HOUR...TORRENTIAL RAIN...FREQUENT CLOUDx TO GROUND
LIGHTNING AND HAIL.

PERSONS IN NORTH AND CENTRAL MISSISSIPPI SHOULD REMAIN ALERT FOR
POSSIBLE SEVERE WEATHER THROUGH THE MORNING HOURS.
