WESTERN BLACKFORD...NORTHEAST GRANT
AT 905 PM EST RADAR SHOWED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM 5 MILES NORTH OF
MARION. THIS STORM WAS MOVING SOUTHEAST AT 35 MILES AN HOUR.
PEOPLE IN THE AREA AROUND THE TOWNS OF UPLAND AN HARTFORD CITY
ARE IN THE PATH OF THIS STORM SHOULD SEEK SHELTER IN A STRONG
BUILDING. DO NOT STAND NEAR WINDOWS. DO NOT USE TELEPHONES
UNTIL THE STORM HAS PASSED. MOTORISTS SHOULD AVOID LOW WATER
CROSSINGS.

AT 900 PM EST...A BAND OF SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS EXTENDED FROM FORT WAYNE TO SOUTH BEND AND THEN TO THE NORTHWEST OVER LAKE MICHIGAN. THE THUNDERSTORMS WITH THE HEAVIEST RAIN WERE LOCATED FROM 10 MILES SOUTH OF SOUTH BEND...NEAR LA PAZ...TO 18 MILES WEST SOUTHWEST OF SOUTH BEND...NEAR LA PORTE. THESE THUNDERSTORMS WERE MOVING TO THE EAST SOUTHEAST AT 20 MPH AND WILL PRODUCE BRIEF HEAVY DOWNPOURS AND DANGEROUS LIGHTNING AS THEY MOVE THROUGH BREMEN AND KINGSBURY INDIANA BY 10 PM EST. MS
