SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL  900 PM EST
FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING COUNTIES...
 
IN WEST CENTRAL INDIANA
          ...PARKE...SOUTHERN VERMILLION...VIGO
 
REPORTS FROM ILLINOIS STATE POLICE INDICATED WIND DAMAGE FROM A SEVERE
THUNDERSTORM IN TWO SEPARATE LOCATIONS...JUST EAST OF AND 15 MILES
SOUTHEAST OF MATOON ILLINOIS...OR ABOUT 45 MILES WEST SOUTHWEST OF
TERRE HAUTE. THE DAMAGE OCCURRED BETWEEN 755 PM AND 810 PM EST. THE
STORM WAS MOVING EAST NORTHEAST AT 45 MILES PER HOUR...AND WILL CROSS
THE STATE LINE AROUND 830 PM. PEOPLE FROM JUST SOUTH OF TERRE HAUTE TO
AROUND 20 MILES NORTH OF TERRE HAUTE SHOULD BE PREPARED FOR THIS
STORM.
 
 
WHEN THUNDERSTORMS ARE OCCURRING...PEOPLE SHOULD MOVE INSIDE A]
STRONG BUILDING.  DO NOT STAND BY WINDOWS.  DON'T USE TELEPHONES
OR ELECTRICAL APPLIANCES UNLESS IN AN EMERGENCY UNTIL THE STORM
HAS PASSED.  MOTORISTS SHOULD NOT DRIVE INTO LOW WATER CROSSINGS.
